1500 Calorie Diet

The basic 1,500 calorie diet is a type of diet that, depending on the metabolism of each person, will allow you to rapidly lose any extra weight. That is due due to the low amount of calories it contains.

This is a basic example of a 1500-calorie diet for a period of one week. You can modify the diet every week to your personal taste.

Procedure:

Day 1:

Breakfast

  • A cup of coffee or tea with some skimmed milk and no sugar
  • A slice of toast with some light jam
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Lunch

  • 200 grams of white beans (or lentils)
  • 150 grams of grilled beef with some salad
  • A slice of bread (25 grams)
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Dinner

  • 200 grams of noodle soup
  • A 2 egg omelette
  • 150 grams of grilled sole
  • A slice of bread
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Day 2: Breakfast

  • A cup of coffee or tea with some skimmed milk and no sugar
  • A slice of toast with light jam
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Lunch

  • 180 grams of melon and 50 grams of lean ham
  • An endive, onion, tomato and asparagus salad (200gr)
  • 150 grams of beef steak with garlic
  • A slice of bread
  • An unsweetened yogurt (with saccharin)

Dinner

  • A boiled egg
  • 150 grams of green beans with tomatoes
  • 150 grams of battered hake
  • 100 grams of fresh cheese
  • A slice of bread

Day 3: Breakfast

  • A cup of coffee or tea with some skimmed milk and no sugar
  • A slice of toast with light jam
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Lunch

  • 100 grams of squid in its own ink, or 100 grams of baked sea bream
  • 150 grams of green salad
  • 150 grams of roast chicken
  • A slice of bread
  • 200 grams of fresh fruit


Dinner

  • 150 grams of lean beef broth
  • 150 grams of vegetable panaché
  • 150 grams of whiting with a little salsa verde
  • A slice of bread
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Day 4: Breakfast

  • A cup of coffee or tea with some skimmed milk and no sugar
  • A slice of toast with light jam
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Lunch

  • 200 grams of canned asparagus with vinaigrette
  • 200 grams of meat paella
  • 50 grams of cottage cheese
  • A slice of bread
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit


Dinner

  • 150 grams of pasta soup
  • A 2 egg soup with 100 grams of grilled mushrooms
  • 150 grams of hake in batter
  • A slice of bread
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Day 5: Breakfast

  • A cup of coffee or tea with some skimmed milk and no sugar
  • A slice of toast with light jam
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit


Lunch

  • 150 grams of macaroni with tomato
  • 150 grams of green salad
  • 150 grams of cod baked with 100 grams of potatoes
  • A slice of bread
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Dinner

  • 200 grams of boiled cauliflower seasoned with salt, oil and vinegar
  • 150 grams of grilled sausages with 150 grams of roasted peppers
  • A slice of bread
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Day 6: Breakfast

  • A cup of coffee or tea with a some skimmed milk and no sugar
  • A slice of toast with light jam
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Lunch

  • 200 grams of cooked spinach
  • 250 grams of grilled beef with 50 grams of crisps
  • A slice of bread
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Dinner

  • 150 grams of noodle soup
  • A chicken burger with 100 grams of lettuce and 100 grams of tomato
  • A slice of bread
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit


Day 7: Breakfast

  • A cup of coffee or tea with some skimmed milk and no sugar
  • A slice of toast with light jam
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

Lunch

  • 100 grams of squid in its ink, or 100 grams of baked sea bream
  • 150 grams of green salad
  • 150 grams of roast chicken
  • A slice of bread
  • 200 grams of fresh fruit


For dinner

  • 150 grams of lean beef broth
  • 150 grams of vegetable panaché
  • 150 grams of whiting with a some salsa verde
  • 1 slice of bread
  • 150 grams of fresh fruit

This is a very radical calorie diet and it might not have the sufficient nutrients your body needs to function properly and stay healthy. That is why it is important to be monitored and to follow the diet properly after the approval of a specialist. The lack of nutrients must be controlled because it can cause major physical and mental health disruption to people who do not follow it properly or without any control.
