Basic 900 Calorie Diet
The Basic 900-Calorie Diet is a type of diet that, thanks to its low amount of calories, allows you to lose any extra pounds. This diet is just a basic example on which you can design a more specific low calorie diet based on your own personal needs or tastes. This is a very radical hypocaloric diet and it might not have enough nutrients to keep your body healthy, that is why, in order to help your body perform properly, it is important to be monitored and to follow this diet with the consent of a specialist. This lack of nutrients must be controlled as it could cause major physical and mental health disruption to people who do not follow the diet correctly or are not monitored.
Procedure: Breakfast
- Coffee or tea without sugar
- 150 ml. of skimmed milk or a yogurt without sugar
- 30 grams of bread or 2 biscuits
- 1 egg or 40 grams of ham with no fat
Lunch
- Green salad (as wished) seasoned with 1/2 a tablespoon of virgin olive oil
- 150 grams of meat or 200 grams of fish
- 1 yogurt without sugar
- 2 pieces of fruit
Dinner
- Green salad (as wished) seasoned with 1/2 a tablespoon of virgin olive oil
- 200 grams of fish or 150 grams of meat
- 200 grams of green legumes
- 150 grams of skimmed cheese
The 900-calorie-diet will be highly effective if you make sure you do not consume more than 5 grams of olive oil a day. You can consume any type of meat, as long as it is lean meat. Fish should be consumed no more than 3 times a week and, if you can, try to eat bluefish.
