What’s a dissociated diet?
A dissociated diet is a type of diet based on the separation of food groups. It’s a diet that tries to avoid mixing proteins and fats with carbohydrates.
Such diets tend to be for times when it is urgent to quickly lose weight but it should never become an eating habit as it could create serious problems and nutritional deficiency. This is why it is not advised to go on this diet for more than one week.
The best advice when going on a dissociated diet is to stick to the basic guidelines of dissociated diets like never mix carbohydrates with proteins and fats, drink plenty of water and above all don’t go on this diet for over one week.

Or maybe the same word is used for 2 different things…
http://www.selfgrowth.com/articles/the_dissociated_diet says:
“In each day you should consume one type of food such as meat, fish, vegetables, dairy products, eggs, or fruits.” which indeed doesn’t sound really healthy on the long term…

I don’t understand.
Here http://www.liveandfeel.com/diets/dissociated_diet.html it says:
“This is not a fast weight-loss diet. You lose weight slowly but constantly. Actually, it is a way of life and the new achieved weight can be maintained without problems.”
Here http://www.frenchsensations.com/20080616/disassociated-diet/ it says:
“This diet works well if you’re willing to completely change the way you eat.”
Here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dissociated_diet it also sounds like it’s more a new way of eating than a short change of your diet.
Yours just saying the complete opposite: quickly lose weight and do it on a really small period of time.
